POTTERY STUDIO + BARN

 Designed for a ranch in Austin, Texas. A barn and pottery studio will sit on a plinth overlooking the residence. The barn and pottery studio will use design elements from the original house, including stone that has been removed from demolished properties on the ranch. This project has been designed around two existing large oak trees. These will provide shade to the future donkeys inhabiting the barn and shade for the southen windows of the pottery studio to provide passive cooling in the hot Austin summers.
